The waterproof closure is part of all Nanuk cases and is specially designed to fit every Nanuk case. The hollow core design prevents material deformation or fatigue of the closure providing the assurance of a permanently waterproof closure. Changes of altitude and geographical locations create a vacuum that can effectively seal a case. The integrated Nanuk auto-pressure valve equalises the difference in atmospheric pressure. Using the latest technology, a micro air hole allows air to pass through while preventing water from entering.
