The case is made from lightweight NK-7 resin, a crushproof material that withstands impact and constant vibration. With an operating temperature range of -29°C to 60°C, the Nanuk 980 is suitable for a wide range of environments, from transport to outdoor use.
Practical organisation and protection
For practical use, the case comes with removable padded dividers, so cameras, measuring instruments, electronic devices or tools can be neatly organised. The PowerClaw latching system with four latches keeps the case securely closed, while the oversized handle with a soft grip makes it comfortable to carry.
The stainless steel hardware, reinforced padlock holes and padlock ring system add security and durability. Deeper stacking ridges provide stable storage and make it easier to stack multiple cases. The lid stays open while you pack and unpack, which is handy when organising contents on site or on the go.
With a maximum buoyancy of 43.4 kg and a conditional lifetime warranty, this protective case is designed for long-term use in professional and mobile applications. The orange finish makes the case easy to spot in workshops, vehicles and on site, while its combination of water resistance, impact resistance and flexible organisation makes it suitable for everyday transport and secure storage.
