Nanuk Silica Gel Container, Orange
The Nanuk Silica Gel Container in orange is designed to absorb moisture effectively, keeping the contents of cases and other storage spaces dry. This container holds silica gel that can absorb up to 34% of its own weight in water vapour, significantly reducing the risk of moisture-related damage to valuable items.
The orange colour of the silica gel indicates that it is active and dry. During use, the colour gradually changes from orange to green, indicating that the gel is saturated with moisture and has lost its absorption capacity. This colour change makes it easy to tell when it is time to regenerate the gel.
Use and regeneration
Regenerating the silica gel is easy and sustainable: place the container in a conventional oven at 120 °C for three hours to drive off the moisture and restore the gel to its original orange colour. This process can be repeated multiple times, making the container a long-lasting, environmentally friendly moisture-control solution. Avoid overheating to preserve the quality of the gel.
This Nanuk Silica Gel Container is ideal for use in cases, camera and electronics storage, musical instruments, toolboxes, and other situations where moisture can affect the lifespan and performance of equipment and materials. Its compact size and ease of use make it easy to place alongside your items without taking up extra space.
The Nanuk Silica Gel Container combines ease of use with durability and performance. Its reusable design reduces waste and saves money over the long term. The clear colour indicator makes maintenance simple and straightforward. This product helps preserve valuable items by effectively preventing moisture problems.
In short, the Nanuk Silica Gel Container is a practical and reliable solution for protecting a range of items from moisture. It is suitable for both personal and professional use, and offers a sustainable way to extend the lifespan of materials. Its reusability and easy regeneration make it an environmentally friendly choice that helps protect your belongings.
